Although the Kinlochmoidart estate became separate I have included it within Moidart since it was originally all part of the Clanranald patrimony.
RMS I App I No 9 c. 1309 states that the grant from Bruce was for 1½ davachs of Moidart (davatam terre cum dimidia de Modworth). In subsequent documents Moidart is normally given as 30m made up of two portions of 27m and 3m respectively. I find 27 9/16 m or d. In Moidart 1d=1m.
