According to OSA Vol 12, No 21 p 263fn this parish experienced extensive changes in 1756. Parts of Kilmuir and Suddy were annexed. Part of Killearnan was disjoined.
The table gives Killearnan with 7¼ davachs. About 1300 the barony of Edidouer came to 5¼ davachs but I am not sure how much of the parish this was thought to have comprised. In 1255-6 ‘Edordor’ had been the name of the parish as far as the papacy was concerned (Theiner No 182 pp 69-70). Family of Rose of Kilravock pp 109-111 of 1294 refers to the davach of Kilcoy ‘in tenemento’ (in the holding) of Edirdowyr.
