In the 1751 Argyll Valuation Roll the parish of Kilmartin amounts to 130½m. Smith’s Statistical Table gives it as 127½m. I find 149m. I also find 37½d but there are many gaps in the pennyland assessment record.
Ardskeodnish is similar to Craignish in that there are several instances of 1d being equivalent to 1½m. At this rate 100d (or 5 ouncelands) would be equivalent to 150m.
There is a Sgeir an Toisich near Duntroon at NR 793954. There is a Dun Toiseach by Torran at NM 881047.
Horsegangs had found their way into Kilmartin parish by 1793 (OSA Vol 8, No 7, p 97 fn).
