In Pringle’s account of 1761 the 5m Fassyfern includes Uachan, Glendually (Gleann Dubh Lighe), Benchait & Durgarve for ½m, Drumfermloch, Sloachah, Stronteenalich (Stronbewlonack?) & Mill of Fassyfern for 24s.
‘Kenacoll’ possibly equals ‘Kaunchonlen’ which was the burn described as the northern boundary of Drumsallie in 1772. It ran east from the Dubh Lighe probably about NM 9481. It is marked on RHP 6591.
