I think the original Baldernock was 2 carucates and that an extra 1¾ carucates came from Campsie in 1649. If we reckon £20 (30m) per carucate the total value of the enlarged parish should be 112½ merks. The table shows only 38½m although there are plenty of farms for which I have no valuation.
