Paisley ‘Bartholomew’s plan of 1909’ refers to the plan by ‘John Bartholomew & Co.’ appended to Metcalfe’s ‘A History of Paisley 600-1908’. This is very useful for showing some of the small surrounding settlements that were gradually absorbed into Paisley.
