OPS I pp 37-8 shows the parish consisted of two parts – one draining into the Forth, the other draining into the Clyde. This suggests to me it was originally two separate ‘parishes’. On p 39 OPS states that in 1434 Dochray (Duchray) is mentioned in the Chamberlain Rolls as a distinct lordship from that of Drummond.

GD220/1/H/3/2/5 1706 lists the lands and barony of Drummond alias Drymen – i.e. the northernmost section of the parish. (Paradoxically the village of Drymen is now in the southern end of the parish). For some of these lands I have no valuations:

Easter, Wester & Middle Gartferns                            [Gartfarran]

Bohallechan                                                                [Bohellachin]

Mill of Drummond                                                      [Mill of Drummond]

Chapelarioch                                                               [Chapelarroch]

Easter & Wester Leads                                               [Lead]

Easter & Wester Achalties                                          [Auchaltie]

Easter & Wester Gartnabrodnicks                              [Gartnabrodnaig]

Easter & Wester Drumlegarts                                     [Drumlaighart]

Easter & Wester Freochans                                         [Freuchan, Port, Perthshire]

Spittle of Roselickans                                                 [Spittal near Blarnaboard?]

Easter & Wester Kippnochs                                        [Kipnoch]

Blairnabord                                                                 [Blarnaboard]

Ballanluig                                                                    [Ballinluig]

Ballochnock                                                                [Ballochneck]

Easter, Wester & Middle Borlands                             [Borland]

Clashmore & Clashbeg                                               [Clashmore]

Corrie Bonnachies Easter & Wester                           [Corrie]

– commonly called the two Corries & Monessan        [Monessan]

My table is not complete but gives 172¼ merklands. This was possibly just under 6 carucates.
